We are seeking an ESOL Lecturer for a temporary position in Hayes, focusing on delivering courses from Pre-Entry/E0 to Entry 3. This role is initially for 3 weeks to cover sickness but has a high potential for additional hours as we are also looking for casual ESOL tutors for future needs, covering levels up to Level 1.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver ESOL courses effectively to students ranging from Pre-Entry/E0 to Entry 3.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet the curriculum standards.
- Engage and motivate students to achieve their language learning goals.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain attendance records and other necessary documentation.
- Be prepared to potentially extend teaching responsibilities to higher levels (up to Level 1) in future assignments.
- Proven experience as an ESOL Lecturer or similar teaching role.
- Familiarity with the curriculum and teaching methods for ESOL levels from Pre-Entry to Level 1.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
- Flexibility to take on additional hours or extend the contract as required.
