Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Help with the preparation of teaching resources and materials.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, ensuring their learning needs are met.
- Assist with classroom behaviour management and help create a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of students social and emotional wellbeing.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and contribute to school development initiatives.
Person Specification:
- A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are beneficial, but not essential).
- A Psychology degree or similar qualification is sought after due to the needs of our pupils
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward learning.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Experience working with children is advantageous, but not required.
