Your new companyA long standing and global client are looking to recruit and Benefits Specialist to join the team. You will join a fast-paced HR Shared Services team providing specialist policy and benefit admin services for an international client base. You will own and manage Benefits, Absences and Leave policies as well as be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, communications and delivery of these policies, while also managing projects within the benefits function.
Your new role
- Manage the benefits programs and vendor relationships
- Partner with external consultants and internal stakeholders to execute processes related to the management of absences and leaves policies, such as managing and overseeing regular legal, process and technology changes
- Evaluate policy effectiveness regularly incorporating stakeholder input, provide recommendations for existing or new policies to improve effectiveness and maintain compliance with legislative updates, local regulations and company policies and procedures
- Provide support to the HR Shared Services team on all policies related to Benefits, Absences and Leave related enquiries
- Support delivery of excellent employee experience, and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and external vendors/partners by providing support to ensure timely and accurate responses to requests and enquiries
- Support any systems related implementations or enhancements that affect benefits systems, including user acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure consistent application of regulations and policies, advising/briefing/training stakeholders as necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of employment and labour laws and regulations related to Absences and Leaves design and administration
- Ability to analyse and understand complex regulatory and procedural information and the impact of such information on current policies content
- Partner with legal, to simplify complex legislative set ups with a global and local lens across international regions
- Prioritise workload, exercise good time management and the ability to work to deadlines, and excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to be meticulous and bring consistency in applying standard principles across policy contents
- You will have the ability to think critically, analytically and solve complex problems
- Working knowledge of benefits, absences and leave policies management systems and processes
- Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup
- Proven ability to be a self-starter and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Extensive knowledge of benefits and absence policies, practices, procedures, laws, and system tools across international geographies
- Proven project management skills
- Experience working with HR shared services model preferred
