Are you a seasoned logistics professional with a knack for leadership in the fast-paced world of perishable goods? Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding, is seeking a dynamic Export Team Leader (Perishable Goods) to lead a team and to enhance and streamline their operations in Hayes, London.

As an Export Team Leader (Perishable Goods), you will:

  • Lead & Motivate: Inspire and guide your team to exceed KPIs and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Global Logistics: Oversee the export of perishable goods via air, sea, road, and courier services, impacting global operations.
  • Customs & Compliance: Manage customs regulations and specialist licenses to ensure smooth, compliant operations.
  • Cultivate and manage key customer accounts, driving continuous improvement and fostering strong partnerships.
  • Collaborate with carriers, agents, and international teams using tools like CargoWise and CDS to ensure efficient logistics management.

As an Export Team Leader (Perishable Goods) you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on perishable goods preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills along with presentation skills
  • Key account management handling experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in logistics systems like CargoWise and CDS.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders
