New position -
My clients a well established freight forwarder based within the Heathrow area, are seeking an experienced Freight Warehouse manager to over see the warehouse and operations.

Duties

  • Ensuring the smooth running of general freight, projects and distributions.
  • Overseeing warehouse operatives
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and transportation providers.
  • Ensure compliance with CAA regulations
  • Training and develop warehouse team
  • To optimise efficiency and minimize delays
  • To manage customs bonded warehouse operation
  • Monitor and create reports on performance
  • HR- monitoring sickness, arranging holiday cover, recruiting, training and monitoring staff

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding
  • Good knowledge of CAA legislation and compliance
  • PC literate
  • Steady work history
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Good understanding of imports and exports- all modes
  • Experience overseeing a large team/ various warehouses


Monday to Friday 8.00-17.00pm
