Warehouse Shift Manager – Day Shift (7am-7pm)

Location: Hayes, West London.

Shift Pattern: 4 days on - 4 days off

Salary: £38,000

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will take charge of day-to-day operations and team management overseeing inventory control, logistics coordination, financial management, and reporting. At this new site, you'll work closely with a dedicated team to establish the most efficient warehousing processes.

Responsibilities:

Managing a team of 2 warehouse supervisors and 20-30 operatives per shift.
Contribute, implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor the performance, development and wellbeing of the team whilst working towards growth and improvement of your personal and team KPIs.
Manage drivers, delivery routes and logistics operations.
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Ideal skill set we’re looking for:

2+ years’ experience in a similar industry in a warehouse managerial or team-leading role.
A proven track record in mentoring, coaching and driving high-performing teams.
Proven ability to adapt to and implement new operational processes in a rapidly growing environment.
Proficiency and knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MS Office.
In-depth knowledge of logistics, inventory control and supply chain management.
Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
