Location: Southall

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days Only

Salary: £48,000 + Bonus

The Company:

Our Client are a leading business within their market space that have been growing consistently over the last 10 years. Having a number of unique products produced at this site and having recently been taken over by a much larger business, this is an exciting time to be joining the business. With a number of exciting projects currently in process, they have the need to add a Maintenance Engineer to their already highly successful and skilled Engineering team on site.

Their order book has been rising consistently over the last few years and with some of the latest automation on the market due to be installed in the next 18 months because of this, they will be looking at providing first class training to their Engineers from the OEMs directly.

The Role:

The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities.

· Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance on various automated production machinery

· Electrical Fault Finding on Three Phase systems, Working in Panels and Swapping Components like for like

· Mechanical Maintenance on Pneumatic systems, Chains, Pulleys, Gearboxes, Shafts

· Fault Finding on PLCs to Input Output Level

· Root Cause Analysis, looking for the reason why a breakdown has happened on any reactive maintenance that's completed.

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have:

· Have a Recognised Engineering Qualification

· Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer on Machinery

· Experience completing both PPMs and Reactive Maintenance

· Work well within a team

· Be happy to get stuck in and be pro-active – look for areas of improvement and get to the bottom of problems rather than continously fix the same issues day in day out
