Our client is an esteemed engineering organisation dedicated to the aviation and aerospace industry, looking for a passionate professional to join them in quality control.

You will be responsible for detailed inspection of aircraft components, using SAP to record essential information on component condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed inspections of all components
  • Create and modify component overhaul/repair routes within SAP as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all relevant information (e.g., Part Number, Serial Number, Condition)
  • Perform precise measurements of components as required based on workload.
  • Work according to production priority lists
  • Collaborate with Technical Engineering and other production departments as necessary
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Section Manager, Team Leader, or Leading Hand
  • Train and mentor team members based on your qualifications and experience.
  • Maintain a personal Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
  • Actively participate in daily department dialog meetings.



Skills & Experience

  • Experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent environment.
  • Previous mechanical component inspection background.
  • Previous experience working within an SAP computer system would advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment
  • Previous practical experience using imperial measurement tools such as Micrometres, callipers and precision measuring tools.
  • Previous knowledge of manuals and Boeing websites
