A vibrantand successful school in Hayes is looking for a Reception teacher on a part-time, 2/3 day a week basis to teach in their Reception class from January 2025. Job Overview:
  • The school is seeking a Reception teacher for a part-time role, ideally to cover Monday and Tuesday (days are negotiable) for the rest of the academic year starting in January.
  • The successful candidate will plan and teach alongside another Reception teacher and work with a class of approximately 30 pupils.
  • There is potential to move to a permanent contract with the school at the end of July 2025.
  • The school is looking for a candidate who is passionate, enthusiastic, and highly committed to early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and planning lessons in the Reception class.
  • Collaborating with the other Reception teacher to plan lessons and manage classroom activities.
  • Promoting high standards of learning and development in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and the school's vision and values.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Early Years education (Reception class or similar).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or ECT qualification.
  • Recent teaching experience (within the last 5 years).
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching methods and environments.
  • Strong skills in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and well-organized approach to teaching.
  • A passion for engaging and promoting progress for young learners.
