The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new opportunities, developing winning sales strategies, and managing client relationships to drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach, particularly in selling high-value, bespoke solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong client relationships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure high-margin contracts.
- Lead the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals.
- Represent the company at industry events, promoting products and capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Provide accurate forecasting, prospect reporting, and client feedback to support business planning.
- Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all client interactions.
As the Business Development Manager, you will have:
- A proven track record with 5+ years experience in Business Development or Sales within engineering.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
