A highly regarded International School in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a globally recognised educational setting, supporting students with a variety of learning needs, including those with SEND and EAL.
As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and succeed academically.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans and learning materials, ensuring each student receives the support they need.
- Supporting students' personal and academic development, fostering independence and confidence in their abilities.
- Assisting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL), helping to improve their communication and comprehension skills.
- Contributing to the positive and inclusive culture of the school, ensuring every student feels supported and valued.
- Experience working with students who have SEND or EAL in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- A positive, empathetic, and proactive approach to helping students overcome challenges.
- A desire to make a difference in an international, multicultural school environment.
