Learning Support Assistant (Year 3)

Location: Hayes, MiddlesexPosition: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)Salary: £450 - £500 per weekStart Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Hayes. This is an excellent opportunity to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and make a significant difference in their educational journey. This primary school benefits from being part of an academy trust, meaning there is plenty of support provided and opportunities to advance your career within education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to the child, enhancing their learning and social skills.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment to support the child's development.
  • Monitor and record progress, communicating regularly with parents and staff.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly autism and global delay. (MANDATORY)
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
