A wonderful three-form entry Primary School in the Borough of Hillingdon are on the hunt for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team for an immediate start.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated and talented team of staff, support hard-working and engaging pupils, and build positive relationships with supportive and proud parents. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working in an environment where children are encouraged to develop a love of learning and a curiosity about the world in which they live, alongside all the important lifelong learning skills which will enable them to flourish.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with children in EYFS and KS1. You will be supporting children with a range of SEN needs, including children who are non-verbal, and also supporting with personal care, in your role as a Learning Support Assistant.

  • Working alongside a fantastic team of Teachers & support staff
  • ASAP Start
  • Long Term & Full Time - until at least July 2025

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Learning Support Assistant

  • Strong academics across the board - Degree (ideal), A levels and GCSEs
  • Experience in a previous similar SEN role (paid or voluntary) essential
  • Willing and enthusiastic
  • Supportive and patient when working with children with SEN
  • Able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, pupils and parents
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • You must be able to commit for the rest of the academic year, until at least July 2023
