Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and have experience working in sports or other relevant settings?
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coaches / SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across West London and support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans to help students reach their full potential.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the effective inclusion of all students.

  • Help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

  • Support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation through sports and activities.

  • Ideally, the role will be full-time from 8:30am - 1:30pm, but we are also open to flexibility based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in both classroom and pastoral settings.

  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies.

  • Use sports and physical activity to build students' confidence, teamwork, and resilience.

  • Monitor and track students' progress and report to the class teacher.

  • Assist with the delivery of lessons and engage students in learning activities.

About You:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH and challenging behaviour (experience in a non-school setting is welcome).

  • Sports coaching experience or a background in physical activities is highly desirable.

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children.

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding practices.

  • A commitment to supporting students with a variety of learning needs.

  • No specific qualifications are required, but a passion for working with children is essential.
