Are you a proactive and energetic individual who enjoys working with children? Do you have a background in Behaviour Management and want to use your skills to make a positive impact in education? We are looking for a motivated Behaviour Mentor to join our client, an SEN Primary School in Hayes, London Borough of Hillingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your passion for special educational needs (SEN) and physical activity while supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities:

  • ASD Experience Required: You'll work closely with children who have ASD , providing both one-to-one support and with the class as a whole.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Utilise effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and other staff members
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
  • Knowledge of special education strategies and interventions
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with educators, parents, and pupils
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed and develop
  • Ability to effectively manage behaviour and act as a positive role model
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse and complex needs of students
