HGV Technician
Salary: Up to 59,000 OTE
Basic Salary: 38.5k - 42.6 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Alecto Recruitment is working with our client to find a Skilled and Flexible HGV Technician in the Heathrow area.

Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs.
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
Conduct gearbox and engine replacements.
Be part of a team committed to excellence and furthering your skills through our Multi-Manufacturer Training Program.
Potential to be part of the breakdown/on-call rota, offering roadside assistance.

Working Hours:

Basic Hours: 40 hours per week, on a rotating early-late shift:
- Early: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Late: Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Late Shift Payment: 25 per night (up to 3,000 annually).
Overtime: Available at 1.5x the basic hourly rate.
On-call roadside assistance rota: Standby rates of 25 per night + overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours, and Double Time on bank holidays.

Requirements:

Relevant qualification or proven technical experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A team player who can work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
