We are seeking a Hairdressing Lecturer to join our client's educational team, delivering practical and theoretical lessons in hairdressing. This role involves conducting a 3-hour practical lesson every Monday afternoon and a 4-hour Level 3 hairdressing lesson every Friday afternoon, starting after the half term. This position is ideal for experienced hairdressing professionals passionate about education and skill development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct a 3-hour practical hairdressing lesson every Monday afternoon.
- Deliver a 4-hour Level 3 hairdressing lesson every Friday afternoon.
- Prepare lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to different learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in hairdressing to enhance teaching materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised qualification in hairdressing (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous teaching experience in hairdressing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
