Job SummaryHighly respected company based near Hayle, Cornwall are seeking to recruit a Sales Engineer to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling a range technical products and services to clients. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and sales skills to provide advice and support on products.

Responsibilities- Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements- Present product demonstrations to potential clients- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies- Provide technical support during the sales process- Manage customer relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction

Requirements and skills:

- Previous experience in B2B sales and engineering roles.

- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and articulate technical concepts, including considering spatial constraints.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a confident and persuasive phone manner.

- Communications must be accurate, precise, and make correct use of the English language.

- Team player who pushes hard to make a success of every opportunity. - Focused individual who can be productive whist multi-tasking between different sales opportunities.

From time to time, you will be required to carry out customer site surveys, attend trade shows, and visit international distributors, but primarily the role is officebased. Time away from the office could be up to 6 weeks in any given year, but at first it will likely be less. You will report directly to the company Directors.
