Senior Group Reporting Accountant

Grafton Banks Finance is working with an award-winning general insurance business, based in West Sussex, to recruit two new Senior Group Reporting Accountant roles.

This role will lead the IFRS Reporting across the group utilising IFRS accounting, consolidation, and group reporting skills.

We are looking for qualified accountants with a background in the insurance industry, strong

IFRS skills, and ideally experience of consolidations and group roles. Experience of leading small teams would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

Salary for this role is up to £90,000 + benefits including attractive bonus and pension, private healthcare, and 25 days holiday. The role offers excellent flexible working opportunities and can be largely remote.

Responsibilities will include preparing technical accounting papers, developing IFRS policies, and collaborating with internal teams such as actuarial to meet IFRS17 requirements. Contributing to the month-end close process, providing mentorship to junior team members and liaise with various stakeholders, ensuring strong controls, and continuously improving financial reporting processes and systems.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to analyse large amounts of data and provide insights to senior stakeholders.
