Part Time School Administrator

Part time (term time only) permanent role

20 hours per week - my client is open to how these hours can be made up but the present job holder works Mon-Fri 1000-1400. Working hours can be discussed at interview. Term time only - approx 34 weeks per year.

Workplace based close to Haywards Heath. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.

Salary. £12700 per year or £16.03 per hour plus excellent staff benefits, free lunches for staff. Great opportunity to work in beautiful surroundings. The role is subject to successful DBS checking.

The Role:

This role demands exceptional people skills and focused attention to detail together with adaptability and enthusiasm. The Administrator role encompasses all aspects of operational and academic procedures within the school and is an extremely varied.

Duties and responsibilities include:

To work in the main School Office

To complete a range of secretarial and administrative tasks as required by the Deputy Heads.

To liaise with the Senior Deputy Head to co-ordinate the calendar and forward planner.

To ensure that paperwork for trips, including risk assessments are completed on time

To co-ordinate the calendars of members of the management team, particularly with regards to parental meetings and potential pupil interviews.

To help with the communication to parents relating to exams and admissions.

Liaise with the senior school admissions team

To assist with the monitoring and tracking of pupil data.

Providing data for school Governors

To work closely with HR, ensuring that new starters have had a full induction process.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required

Excellent administration skills.

Excellent communication skills.

A warm and professional telephone manner

Very good IT literacy, with excellent Word and Excel skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of the team.
