Sales and Account Manager

Full time permanent role

40 hours per week, Monday-Friday - office based hours - hybrid working options are available after settling in / probationary period is completed.

Role based close to Haywards Heath with plenty of free parking for staff available on site. Due to rural location of the offices, you will need to be a driver and have your own transport

Salary - £30000 - £35000 per year plus bonus scheme - Good company benefits, including staff discounts

The role - Sales and Account Manager

My client is a fast-growing supplier of cleaning, hygiene, and workplace essentials to businesses across the UK. They're on the lookout for a driven and experienced Account / Sales Manager to lead a small, dynamic team and drive both new business and account growth.

This is a very suitable role if you’re someone who thrives on building relationships, leading people, and being rewarded for your results

Duties will include:

Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts, focusing on both retention and up-selling.

Drive new business by identifying and converting new opportunities.

Lead and support a small team of account managers and customer service staff (2)

Mentor team members and help them achieve personal and collective sales goals.

Ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact to order fulfilment.

Work alongside internal teams to resolve any issues and improve service delivery.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required

Experience in B2B account management or sales.

Previous experience leading or mentoring a small team.

Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

CRM experience

Driver with own transport due to rural workplace location.
