Job Title: Drainage Engineer HGV Class 2

Job Location:Goddards Green, West Sussex

Job Career Level: Experienced (non-managerial)

Job Salary: Competitive

Hours: 50 hours per week, 5 days from 7

Reporting to: Depot Manager

Profile

Drive and operate specialist jetting tankers; Super Suction Jetting Tankers, Combination Jetting Tankers once training has been provided

Drive and operate specialist vacuum tankers; 2k, 3k, 4k and 6k

Attend emergency call out situations dealing with sewer blockages, flooding and pollution

Collection and disposal of controlled waste

Disposal of liquid waste

Working on Private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety and environmental procedures

Undertake vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift

Ensure that all jobs are documented correctly

Ensure that the conditions of all PPE (personal protective clothing and equipment) remain fit for purpose

Being flexible in your approach to work and undertake ad-hoc duties when your vehicle is off the road or if you are required to assist other field teams

Attend training as and when required

Skills / Attributes:

Flexible with working hours (we can be very reactive at times and teams are expected to assist as much as they can)

Must have the ability to take on responsibility of working within very controlled guidelines and environmental regulations

Minimum Class 1 licence holder with CPC

Must be able to commit to unsociable working hours including various weekends in line with our emergency call out rota
