The Opportunity
Amber Mace are working with an exceptional, premium client of ours who are on the lookout for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the commissioning and long-term success of a brand-new residential care home in a beautiful rural location on the East & West Sussex borders. This is more than just opening a home, it’s about building a thriving, high-quality service from day one that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care!

What You’ll Be Doing
• Overseeing the full commissioning process, from setup to successful launch.
• Recruiting, training, and developing a top-tier care team.
• Ensuring outstanding care, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Managing budgets, P&L, and financial performance to ensure long-term success.
• Building strong relationships with local authorities, families, and the wider community.
• Driving occupancy and establishing the home as a provider of choice.

What We’re Looking For
• Proven Leadership – Experience as a Registered Manager in a residential care setting, ideally with commissioning experience.
• Stability & Commitment – A track record of success and longevity in previous roles.
• Private Care Home Expertise – An understanding of marketing, business development, and occupancy growth.
• Commercial Acumen – Strong experience in managing P&L and meeting business targets.
• Inspirational Leadership – Ability to build, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
