Reed HR have partnered with a growing organisation based in Brighton that is looking for an experienced HR specialist to join their team as an HR Business Partner. This is a permanent position which will involve managing a small, successful HR team.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on generalist who thrives in a role that combines strategic and operational responsibilities. Line management experience is essential, as my client is looking for someone who can guide the team through an exciting period of change.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and manage a small HR team, ensuring high levels of team engagement and performance.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the management team, providing insights and recommendations on HR matters that affect the organisation.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits programme.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as an HR Business Partner/Generalist.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Analytical and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
