We are delighted to be partnered with our successful and established client as they seek to recruit two full time Production Assistants to join their team at their site in Haywards Heath. The roles are full time / permanent and are based very close to Haywards Heath station area. These new roles are available due to company growth and expansion and they offer an excellent opportunity to join a superb business who offer long term career security and stability.
Production Assistant
Full time permanent role
37.5 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 0745-1630 and Friday 0745-1230
Role based in Haywards Heath with plenty of free parking for staff available. Also a short walk from Haywards Heath station
Salary - £23809.50 per year (£12.21 per hour) - Very good company benefits, including a company funded health cash plan, good pension scheme and 22 days annual leave plus all UK bank holidays. Overtime is also available.
The role - Production Assistant
To assist with more routine operations of electronic instrument assembly including preparing of cables, wires and parts, soldering electronics, packing and labelling.
Duties will include:
- Cable Prep - Measuring cables to customer length and preparing ends ready for connection to Instruments
- Soldering - Soldering wires onto electronics and preparing cables
- Final Product - labels and final preparation for finished products;
- Packing - ensuring products are complete and packed ready for dispatch;
- To support Production Technicians where required.
Experience, competencies and knowledge required
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to listen and follow instructions. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required as well as a flexible approach to work.
Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is highly advantageous
