The Role

On behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer, we are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Assembler / Production Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a hands-on production environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and packaging products while ensuring quality standards and production deadlines are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and preparing shipments.
  • Assembling, testing, and packing products to meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Operating power tools and equipment safely, following strict guidelines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. This role involves manual handling, and candidates must be able to lift up to 25kg.

This role could suit someone who has worked as a Production Operative, Assembly Technician, or Manufacturing Assistant.

Package

£22,222.20 per annum with structured pay increases based on training completion.

Discretionary annual bonus scheme

28 days holiday, increasing with service.

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (1-hour lunch, 15-minute break)
