Position: Office Manager Location: Full-time, office-based Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)Benefits: Standard pension, 21 days holiday + bank holidays + 3 days at Christmas (24 days + bank holidays total), holiday increases by 1 day every 3 years, Christmas bonus, end of financial year bonus, free residential parking 5 minutes from the office.

Overview:Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will possess solid IT knowledge, HR experience, communication skills, some financial skills, excellent organisational and time-management skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and delegate where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Monitor staff welfare and development, promote staff well-being, and provide support where appropriate.
  • Provide IT support and liaise with third-party IT support providers and case management system providers when necessary.
  • Maintain staff records, ensure proper levels of training, arrange courses, and conduct timely reviews.
  • Manage staff rotas and holidays.
  • Oversee the induction of new staff.
  • Provide shared holiday cover for the legal cashier.
  • Manage admin staff, including chairing meetings.
  • Organise staff social events.
  • Update firm policies, handbook, and office manual as required.
  • Ensure adherence to all firm policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., AML).
  • Assist with the preparation of annual submissions required by external bodies and providers (CQS, insurance, etc.).
  • Maintain adequate levels of supplies and equipment.
  • Manage building maintenance.
  • Act as an additional point of contact for clients, including managing the complaints procedure.
  • Manage off-site archive storage facilities and systems.
