About the Role:

Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to work within our partner schools across Haywards Heath. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge pupils, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need as they progress through their education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages pupil participation and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect, responsibility, and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
