Morgan McKinley has a lovely part time Accounts Assistant role based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. This is an all round Accounts Assistant type role from invoicing, payments, credit control to payroll admin and preparing management accounts. The part time Accounts role will be working 3 days a week.
Hours: 9-5 / 9.30-5.30 - flexible. Part time - 3 full days
Location: Office based - Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Accounts Assistant duties:
- Maintain the everyday accounting for the business and monitor and pay all company bills and invoices
- Manage the collection of customer monthly direct debits and all other customer payments
- Deal with any payment queries and cancelled/unpaid Direct Debits
- Calculate payments due and any transferring of funds
- Payroll administration and administer staff pension arrangements
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Produce year end accounts and balance sheet
- Produce the annual financial statement
- Assist the accountant with end of year accounts/audit
- Complete any requirements for Companies House
- Monitor renewal dates and implement renewals of insurance policies
- Maintain staff holiday and sickness records
- Answer and direct telephone calls as and when required
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience working in a similar Accounts / Finance role, carrying out payroll admin, managing accounts etc.
- Excellent communication skills and highly organised
- Good IT skills
