Connaught Education is collaborating with an outstanding, coeducational, independent school to appoint a Key Stage 2 and 3 Teacher of Mathematics on a maternity cover basis from April 2025. This is a role of huge importance, focussing on Years 5 and 6 including common entrance and scholarships.
The school in question caters to pupils from nursery to prep, it is a traditional but highly progressive school with a broad curriculum. This is a non-selective school with an inclusive approach that ensures the development of all pupils, regardless of their academic starting point.
The appointed Teacher of Mathematics will have experience of an independent school environment and ideally of scholarships and common entrance. Mathematics is a high performing area of the school and is a thriving department.
