My client is seeking someone to work Mon-Fri 0800-1700 on a permanent term time only basis, plus an additional six weeks which can be made up in the various school holiday times.

Secretary

Full time permanent role - term time only plus 6 weeks

Monday - Friday 0800-1700

Workplace based close to Haywards Heath. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.

The Role - Secretary

To be the main contact person for all parents and visitors and assist in the successful administration of the school.

To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support

Duties and responsibilities include:

Providing a first class reception service including the efficient and courteous management of incoming telephone calls, emails and visitors.

Work closely with the School PA to complete duties.

Assist teachers with the administration of trips, ensuring all necessary payments are made and paperwork completed.

Deal efficiently with incoming and outgoing mail

Monitor and ensure good stock levels of all stationery for the office, teaching staff and Head are kept

Typing up or scanning meeting minutes and sharing with all staff.

Assist the Admissions team with management of the pupil database and dealing effectively with all enquiries regarding admissions.

Perform other administrative duties as specified by the leadership team

Skills, experience and competencies required:

A confident and friendly manner

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good all round computer skills

Excellent administrative skills

The ability to work well as part of a team
