Job Overview:

This SEN school in Haywards Heath is a special school for boys aged 6-12 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions. They are part of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust and located near Haywards Heath in a beautiful countryside setting.

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the team and support pupils with SEMH and ASC needs. This is a great opportunity for a therapist who wants to develop their skills in a school environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1, paired, and group therapy sessions to support pupils' needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help pupils manage their emotions and improve their learning.
  • Work with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils both in school and at home.
  • Keep accurate records and contribute to pupils' progress reviews and assessments.
  • Provide training and updates to the school's staff teams on pupils' progress.
