A Warehouse Operative is needed to join the dynamic team at this leading provider of cleaning, janitorial, catering, and hygiene supplies to both commercial and FM customers in the UK.Â
The company is looking for a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail who can take the initiative to get things done efficiently.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient and smooth operations by helping to keep the warehouse organised and assisting with the timely, accurate dispatch of orders to meet customer needs.
- Take the initiative in picking, checking, preparing, and packing customer orders carefully to minimise errors. Assist with incoming goods, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Keep your workspace clean, tidy, and safe by following all health and safety guidelines.Â
Desirable experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse work is an advantage, though not essential.
Required skills:Â
- A go-getter who is organised, adaptable, and ready to take on varied tasks with a problem-solving mindset. Â
- The warehouse operates to a tight time schedule, so the ability to work quickly and think on your feet is essential.
- A driving licence is required.
- A forklift licence is desirable, but training will be provided if needed.
Working Schedule:
- Shift Work: 40 hours per week, 8 hour day shift, Monday to Friday
- Hours: Shifts between 7 am and 9 pm.
