Senior / Foreman Fabricator Welder
£18-22 per hour, Haywards Heath Outskirts, Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm with 1 hour lunch, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Parking, Pension
The Role
Due to continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior / Foreman Fabricator Welder to join our client, a small but busy fabrication workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join small team that is involved in various industrial construction projects from 1mm mild steel, stainless, aluminium, sheet metal through to PFC's and small structural works.
- Managing jobs from start to finish
- Operating fabrication machinery including guillotine, Press Brake and punches
- MIG Welding - 1mm to 12mm
- TIG Welding - Stainless and Aluminium
- Tool maintenance
- Fabrication from drawings transforming raw materials to completed projects
- Participate in quality control activities, including accuracy and inspection of manufactured parts
- Helping with material orders, stock & consumable management
Requirements
The ideal Fabricator Welder will be a competent fabricator with strong experience using fabrication machinery to fabricate a wide variety of products. Ideally, you will have extensive MIG and TIG welding experience, but if you are a very competent fabricator with some, but limited welding experience, this will also be considered. You will need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy products. Due to the extremely rural location, your own transport is essential.

You will be joining an established fabrication workshop in the Sussex countryside. They provide a range of services to their clients from the developing one off designs and prototypes to fabricating gates, railings and balconies to laser cutting and much more.
Package
£18-22ph. depending on experience
