Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will undertake planned and reactive maintenance activities at our client's busy manufacturing plant near Heanor.

The Role:

Reporting to the engineering supervisor you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance activities at a busy factory and machine shop.

Duties will include but is not limited to;

  • Electrical fault find and repair of CNC Gearboxes, bearings, shafts, etc etc
  • 3-Phase electrical fault find and repair contactors, sensors, relays, inverters, control panels, distribution boards etc etc
  • Motors, pumps
  • plc inputs/outputs fault find and repair
  • Some facilities maintenance
  • PPM's

Candidate:

The successful candidate will have previous electrical maintenance engineer experience in a manufacturing environment.

We are seeking applicants who have a recognised electrical engineering qualification in mechanical engineering e.g. NVQ3, HNC, 18th Edition etc etc.

Good controls and plc fault find and repair skills required.


Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 8am -4.30pm Friday 8am - 12.30pm
Overtime available
