Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Nottingham area near Heanor / Newthorpe
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (flexible)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8 am - 4:30 pm)

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available due to the upcoming retirement of a key team member around Easter. This role is primarily focused on electrical maintenance but offers opportunities to engage in mechanical work. Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical maintenance of complex, externally designed machines (pre-preg/printing machines).
- Fault-finding, PLC programming (Siemens PLCs), and dealing with inverter breakdowns, including program transfers.
- Involvement in automation and small-scale machine builds.
- Working with 15V systems and programming relays, ladder logic, and PLC systems.
- Reacting to electrical issues and supporting mechanical work proactively.
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience (electrical bias with an interest in mechanical work).
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (especially Siemens), inverters, and 15V systems. Or at least an interest in PLC programming, ladder logic, and machine fault-finding.
- Electrical and mechanical background or willingness to work in both areas.
