We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of our clients thermoforming lines and extrusion equipment, focusing on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a mulskilled engineering capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in thermoforming or plastics.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
