TeacherActive is delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Year 5 Teacher at our partner school in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a long term full time position, starting in September 2024 with the possibility of it going to permanent. The school has been Ofsted rated good and will provide a great environment for you to teach.

The right candidate must have experience in key stage 2 / KS2 and be an experienced and passionate primary teacher. This full-time position encompasses various responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessing, pupil progress tracking, report writing, participation in parents' evenings, and contributing to the wider school community.

The successful primary teacher will have:

  • Experience in KS2
  • Forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning
  • QTS certificate
  • Engaging and confident in what you do
