Bright Selection is delighted to be working with a leading provider of dementia care for the appointment of Commissioning Home Manager.
The home is due to open Spring 2025 in the Heanor region of Derbyshire and is a brand-new, state-of-the-art care home, designed to provide high quality and personalised elderly care. As a leader in premium residential care, our client is committed to delivering exceptional care that enhances the quality of life for residents and provide peace of mind for their families.
They are at the stage of build where they are now ready to recruit their commissioning home manager who is experienced and passionate and excited to lead this exciting new venture, setting new benchmarks in dementia care.
As the Home Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and establish the operational and care standards from day one. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional care, building and leading a dedicated team, and ensuring the home becomes a beacon of excellence in dementia care within the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver outstanding, person-centred dementia care.
- Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day running.
- Champion the highest standards of care, ensuring residents live in a safe, stimulating, and dignified environment.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality frameworks, maintaining the home's premium standards.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families, providing reassurance and clear communication.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while delivering exceptional care services.
- Develop strong ties with local healthcare professionals, community groups, and other stakeholders to enhance the home's reputation and presence.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Home Manager in a dementia or elderly care setting, ideally with a background in managing private care.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent).
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a cohesive team.
- In-depth knowledge of dementia care, CQC regulations, and best practices in elderly care.
- A compassionate, resident-focused approach, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of those living with dementia.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary:
- 60,000 + negotiable depending on experience
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
