Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for male adults with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, who have additional complex care needs. Together we are seeking a Registered Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ) for their specialist low secure unit for adults based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

As a qualified Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ), you will ensure males within this low secure unit receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

Requirements

  • A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD )
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 6 months / 1 year of mental health / acute, forensic, low - high secure, PICU / private or NHS / learning disability experience
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
