Job title: Commercial Account Executive
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our client's commercial team.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving portfolio growth within the general commercial insurance sector. This role offers the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment, collaborating closely with a team of experienced professionals to deliver tailored insurance solutions for our diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients, serve as the primary point of contact, and proactively engage to ensure their evolving needs are met.
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market knowledge, driving the growth of the business by generating new leads and closing opportunities.
Renewal and Policy Management
- Oversee the renewal process for existing clients, negotiate with insurers, and review/update client policies regularly.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, provide guidance on compliance matters to clients, and ensure accurate and up-to-date client documentation.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Collaborate closely with team members, support collective business goals, and share market insights and best practices.
Market Knowledge and Industry Engagement
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and build/maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Account Executive within the insurance sector, with a focus on commercial insurance.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
- Proficiency in using insurance platforms and client management systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance regulations, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations.
