Role: Kitchen Handling Team – Driver & Mate
Job Description
As part of a two-person team, you’ll be responsible for moving pre-delivered kitchen components to designated kitchen rooms on sites. Each team consists of one Driver and one Mate who work together to transport and safely place kitchen parts.
Key Details
- Pay:
- Driver: £110 per day + £0.45 per mile (mileage paid by the client).
- Mate: £100 per day
- Daily Structure:
- Kitchen units will arrive on pallets by the client’s lorry driver.
- You will not be responsible for delivery by lorry but will manage the movement of kitchen units on-site.
- A site forklift driver will unload the lorry and deliver the pallets to a designated area.
- You will be responsible for moving the kitchen components from the drop-off point to the kitchen rooms.
- Full day’s pay is guaranteed, regardless of whether you handle one load or multiple loads in a day.
- Location
East Sussex (Must be within 10 miles) - Vehicle
Must have own Car.
Requirements
- Driver Requirements: Valid driver’s license, CSCS Card, punctuality, and adherence to safety.
- Mate Requirements: CSCS Card, Physical fitness for moving kitchen parts, reliability, and teamwork skills.
General Requirements: Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage variable daily workloads, and follow on-site safety protocols
