Sonic Summary

Our client, a family-run business, is seeking a Bench Joiner to join their workshop team.
The role involves producing standard and bespoke gate designs for both domestic and commercial markets, managing the full production cycle.
Candidates must have previous carpentry experience and a background in working with various woodworking machinery and hand tools.
The position requires physical fitness, teamwork, and an organized approach to work, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6.55am to 4.35pm.
The salary is competitive, and candidates should have relevant experience, ideally in a similar role.

Our client, an established, family run business, are looking for a Bench Joiner to join their workshop team. Working in a small but flexible team you will be responsible for the production of standard and bespoke gate designs for both the domestic and commercial market, manufacturing many products on-site to ensure the quality.

As a Bench Joiner you will be responsible for the full production cycle, including the

Selection and preparation of materials
Machining timber for all stages of production
Assembly of machined timber

Previous carpentry experience is essential and you must have a proven background working with a variety of woodworking machinery and basic hand tools The successful candidate will also:

Be able to work as part of a team
Have an organised and tidy approach to your work
Be physically fit

Hours of work are Monday-Friday 6.55am-4.35pm with additional overtime opportunities.

Due to the location of the yard you must have access to a vehicle if you do not live locally. Free on-site parking available.
