Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum

My client are a Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor and deliver a variety of services within the Highways and Infrastructure sector across the UK for an impressive list of public and private sector clients. Due to a continuation in contract success and company expansion, they're looking for a permanent Site Agent with structural and civil experience to join the team within the Cambridgeshire area.
 
To be considered for the role, you should have demonstrable experience of at least 3 years working on site as an agent with strong working knowledge of structural, civils, and highways construction.
 
Responsibilities of the Site Agent:
·Lead and manage the site team, including Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors.
·Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
·Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
·Oversee all health, safety, and environmental practices on-site, promoting a strong safety culture.
·Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
-  Review drawings and specifications, ensuring all work meets project requirements.
 
Requirements:
·At least 5+ years of experience in site management, with a focus on highways, structures, or civils projects.
·A strong understanding of construction processes, safety, and project delivery.
·A degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
·Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
·CSCS Card, SMSTS certification, and a full UK driving license.
·EUSR certification (not essential).
