Sustainability Consultant

Location: East Sussex - hybrid

Salary: 30,000 - 40,000

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join a team of mechanical and electrical building service engineers, working on a variety of projects from design through to completion. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and take on more responsibilities - conducting assessments for BREEAM, WELL, Ska, and LEED to enhance energy efficiency and building performance.

As a Sustainability Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with team members to achieve environmental certifications.
  • Developing certification targets for reviewed projects and promoting sustainable outcomes.
  • Carrying out BREEAM Assessments.
  • Supporting planning applications and producing validation statements.
  • Conducting Life Cycle Assessments.

The Sustainability Consultant role offers:

To be considered for this role, you should:

  • Hold a BREEAM Assessor qualification and/or BREEAM AP status.
  • Have a relevant degree in a built environment or sustainability-related field.
  • Have experience conducting LEED, Ska, and/or WELL Building Standard assessments.
  • Be familiar with OneClick LCA software.
  • Possess a strong understanding of UK environmental and sustainability regulations.
  • Be based within a commutable distance of East Sussex.
