Role: Groundworks Foreman
Location: East Sussex
Start date: November - December 2024
Contract Type: Employed Contract
Salary: Up to 320 per day
About us:
Groundworks division, part of a leading group that have various companies within the sub-contract environment that they own as well as a large scale developer that focuses on multi-volume house building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations on-site, ensuring efficient work flow and project time lines are met.
- Lead and mentor ground works teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Occasionally work on the tools, demonstrating hands-on leadership and technical expertise.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working culture.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 year's experience in a Ground works General Foreman role or similar.
- Valid Gold CSCS card is essential.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
