Enterprise Applications & Portfolio TEAM LEADER

Are you a dynamic and experienced leader with a passion for driving excellence in enterprise applications? Our client is seeking a talented Team Leader to join their Enterprise Applications and Portfolio Group. As Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their IT & Digital Service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support, and negotiate in-house quality procedures, standards, specifications, and lifecycle management for critical core applications such as SAP, Social Care, Education & Highways, and other business areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and provide operational level advice and consultancy to services, management, and users.
  • Ensure effective supplier management and contribute to the continuous improvement of applications across the IT & Digital Service.
  • Make informed decisions regarding work prioritisation, scheduling, and execution.
  • Deputise for the respective manager as needed and perform other tasks aligned with the post's grade.

Requirements:

  • Degree/HNC or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience in a relevant subject.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of technical areas.
  • Excellent project management skills in delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of business planning, financial management, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in computerised business systems.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to innovate.
