We are looking for a talented IT Administrator to join our Technology department on-site in East Sussex . In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the optimization and maintenance of our clients IT systems while delivering top-notch support to the internal stakeholders.Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 suite, including user administration, email setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer hybrid Active Directory/Entra systems, handling user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
  • Oversee software and hardware installations, upgrades, and patches, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure secure and uninterrupted connectivity.
  • Implement and maintain backup solutions, safeguarding critical data and facilitating disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with teams to meet ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards, performing audits and implementing security measures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven IT administration experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux proficiency.
  • Strong Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and network administration expertise.
  • Familiarity with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
