A highly respected, long-established law firm with offices in East Sussex and London is seeking a dynamic Residential Property Lawyer (preferably 5+ PQE). With top-tier rankings in Chambers UK, Legal 500, and other prestigious directories, this firm is known for delivering exceptional client service with a personal touch. The firm is currently looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE). You'll be joining a high-performing team handling high-value residential properties ranging from £800k to £10m. This is a unique opportunity to manage exclusive transactions without the pressure of business development or carrying a following.

Working within one of two Residential Property teams, you'll collaborate with a group of 5 fee earners, 1 paralegal, and 4 assistants. The team's culture is supportive and collaborative, allowing for both individual and group success. The firm is known for being friendly and having reasonable targets, focusing on delivering excellent client service with a healthy approach to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 15 new files per month
  • Handling high-value transactions for properties ranging from £800k to £10m
  • Working closely with paralegals and legal assistants in a 1-2-1 setup
  • Attending site visits, ensuring a local presence and client connection

This role plays a crucial part in the firm's continued success in the Residential Property sector.
