Role - Site Manager
Location - East Sussex
Salary - 55k - 65k
My client is a growing generalist building contractor they are looking for a Site manager for a client in East Sussex, ideally you'll have experience working on projects valued 20k up to 5m for Refurb and newbuild projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all works are undertaken with consideration to the needs of the local population
- Manage, supervise and mentor the site team
- Cover various projects and drive the team forwards
- Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
- Ensure that the project is properly planned, programmed and resourced to achieve safe, profitable and timely delivery
- Prepare monthly progress project reports, and ensure that method statements, risk assessments and approval documents are in place for all site activities
- Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all the contractual requirements
- Manage materials and supply, including where necesarry obtaining this yourself
- Estimating and pricing projects and variations
Key Attributes:
- Having a strong background of working within the build industry (General Builder, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Assistant Site Manager)
- CSCS site manager qualified
- First Aid
- SMSTS or SSSTS Ideally
- Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
- Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
- Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
